Advanced & Interventional Care
Advanced and interventional mental health treatments take a different approach than standard medication or therapy, and may be considered when symptoms haven’t responded adequately to previous treatment. At Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, each option is evaluated with your full treatment history in view, delivered in our office under clinical supervision, and managed as part of your ongoing psychiatric care.
When Advanced Care Makes Sense
Interventional treatments may be considered when symptoms haven’t responded enough to medication or therapy, or when your treatment history points toward a different strategy. What you’ve already tried narrows what to consider next, so you’re not starting over. Eligibility depends on your diagnosis, history, and current symptoms, and your provider will walk through whether an option fits your situation.
At Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, interventional treatment is part of your psychiatric care, not a standalone procedure. The provider evaluating whether it fits has your diagnosis, treatment history, and current symptoms in view, and stays involved as treatment progresses.
You can keep seeing your psychiatrist or other provider while you’re evaluated and treated here. With your permission, they stay involved throughout.
Referring providers can submit our referral request form, which goes directly to our intake team who coordinates the evaluation and collaborates with you throughout treatment.
