What conditions is leucovorin (folinic acid) used for?

At Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, Leucovorin is primarily used for:

  • Autism spectrum disorder (especially in children with speech delay or communication challenges)

  • PANS/PANDAS

Leucovorin has also been studied in other conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, but our program is currently focused on autism and related neurodevelopmental presentations.
