What is Leucovorin treatment like?

  • Leucovorin treatment typically begins with an initial 12–16 week trial, giving families time to monitor response and determine whether treatment is beneficial.

  • You'll receive a prescription, treatment plan, and written guidance on what to monitor throughout the trial. Most families do not require a formal follow-up during this initial period.

  • At the end of the trial, you'll receive guidance on next steps. If your child is responding well and you would like to continue treatment, you can contact our team to request continued care. A clinician will review the request and determine the appropriate next step.

  • Questions or additional provider support are also available via text, email, or our secure patient portal throughout treatment for an additional fee.
