How is your approach different from other autism treatment programs?
At Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, we view autism differently. From the very first consult, we take the time to understand you or your loved one’s strengths, skills, and interests, and personalize an approach that’s best suited to the individual. This may include developing a behavior plan, working with our skilled consultants and technicians, exploring medication management options, considering dietary and nutritional needs, and more.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we do offer a subscription-based model for behavior services, which accepts certain insurance plans for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) levels of care.
What types of autism treatment & support do you offer?
Our autism services include behavior services with consultation and support from a behavior technician, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), parent training and coaching, school support such as IEP collaboration and behavior plan development, outpatient therapy, medication management, dietary and nutritional consultation, and social skills groups.
Do you offer in-person and/or virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, we provide virtual/telehealth sessions for most programs to ensure flexible, accessible care. Our experienced Behavior Technicians and Consultants are also available for in-home, in-school, and community-based sessions throughout the Philadelphia area—bringing support wherever it’s needed most.
How do you tailor autism treatment plans to each person’s needs?
For individuals with autism, we begin with a comprehensive functional behavior assessment to understand challenging behaviors, strengths, communication styles, and sensory preferences, then use that insight to create a personalized treatment plan focused on teaching meaningful, effective strategies to improve daily life.
Do you help with IEP (Individualized Education Plan) or 504 Plan development?
Yes! Our Behavior Consultants are very skilled in consulting on IEP, 504, and PBSP goals and can collect data, complete FBAs, and attend IEP meetings towards this collaboration.
What is included in the $150/month subscription plan?
Subscription plans for our insurance-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services give users access to our exclusive patient portal with a growing database of video content, free support groups, while taking advantage of more affordable insurance based treatment. In addition, subscribers are guaranteed responses within 24 business hours on our patient communication portal for support in challenging situations.
Do I need an official autism diagnosis to join the Autism & Behavior Program?
Behavior services are beneficial to anyone who would like to learn more adaptive behavior / social skills regardless of diagnosis. However, some insurance providers will not cover Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services without an autism diagnosis - in that case, services could still be provided under our private pay model.
How often can I meet with a provider? Is there a limit on sessions?
If you are using our private pay option, there are no limits on how often you can meet with a provider or how long your sessions can be, as long as scheduling allows. If you are using insurance, the number and length of sessions are based on the specific authorization we receive from your insurance plan.
Can I use insurance to cover my subscription fee?
No, insurance providers will not cover the subscription fee.
Are there any additional costs for services outside the subscription?
Any fees not reimbursed by insurance will be the responsibility of the patient.
Can I book same-day or emergency appointments?
We guarantee a response to patient portal messages within 48 business hours, and within 24 business hours for patients enrolled in our subscription-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) service. Whenever possible, we also offer last-minute consultations to help address urgent concerns.
Is there a commitment period to your subscription plan(e.g., month-to-month, 6-month minimum)?
There is no long-term commitment. Our subscriptions are month-to-month, and patients can cancel at any time.
Can I use an HSA/FSA to pay for my subscription?
Yes! We accept payment through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Many patients find this a convenient way to cover the cost of their subscription using pre-tax funds. We recommend checking with your HSA or FSA provider to confirm your plan's eligibility requirements for behavioral health services.
