Explorations Partial School
Region: Eagleville
Known For: Explorations Partial Hospitalization Program is a sub-acute program designed for children and adolescents with chronic or acute mental health disorders who need active treatment. The program aims to address students’ individual and emotional needs while keeping them within their home and school communities. Serving up to 35 students, the community-based program focuses on stabilizing emotions and teaching acceptable behavior to help students transition back to the least restrictive environment with appropriate services in place. Housed in an alternative school, the program offers the unique opportunity for students to receive behavioral health treatment in a school setting, serving as a bridge to a less restrictive school environment before returning to their home school district. Explorations PHP provides a minimum of three hours of behavioral health treatment and up to two hours of education per day, tailored to each student's individual needs.
