Cyndi Castello-Bratteson’s teaching career is extensive. She has taught in London, England, as well as, in various New Jersey public schools and a Pennsylvania private school. After more than ten years as a classroom educator, she founded her professional development company which delivers highly effective research-based literacy strategies. She has been a contracted coach for Rutgers University’s Center for Literacy Development. Within her role as a professional developer and educational consultant, she acts as presenter, instructional coach, curriculum writer and advisor to many districts around the state of New Jersey. She trains K-12 teachers in best practices through modeling lessons, conducting large workshops, and organizing data collection projects. She advises districts on curriculum and programming in addition to her focus on effective classroom instruction.

As a tutor and organizational coach to middle, high school, and college students, Cyndi supports those who require assistance with study skills, reading, writing, time management, and organization. These students are neurodiverse and in need of executive function training. Keeping her finger on the pulse of how students are adjusting to the constantly changing landscape of education today allows her to be highly effective in the classroom with teachers and learners.

Cyndi Castello-Bratteson holds a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Kean University and has completed her coursework for her New Jersey supervisory certificate. She graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of the Arts dual degree in elementary and special education.
