Kaitlyn Stone, LCSW

She / Her

Therapist

As a therapist at Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, I love being able to collaborate with other skilled professionals within the field to provide comprehensive care.

  • Kaitlyn is a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for working with children and their families. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and has over four years of clinical experience. During this time, Kaitlyn has developed a deep understanding of the unique emotional and behavioral challenges children face. She is committed to helping children and their parents navigate difficult emotions, improve communication, and foster healthier family dynamics. Kaitlyn recognizes that every stage of life presents its own unique challenges and is mindful of how these challenges evolve as people grow. Whether you are a child, adolescent, teen, or young adult, Kaitlyn is dedicated to supporting your growth.

Kaitlyn specializes in treating OCD, anxiety, and depression using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These techniques help clients manage intrusive thoughts, reduce compulsive behaviors, improve their quality of life, and alleviate feelings of anxiety. Kaitlyn is also passionate about exploring the unique aspects of our personalities and understanding how life experiences shape the way we interact with others and the world around us. By identifying and nurturing these individual parts, we can heal past wounds and discover healthier, more compassionate ways to navigate life’s challenges.

Kaitlyn firmly believes that therapy is most effective when built on a strong, trusting relationship between the therapist and client. She prioritizes building this connection from the very first session. She also recognizes the value of humor in therapy, believing that a little laughter can lighten the load and create a more comfortable, relatable space. While she brings a sense of lightness into her sessions, Kaitlyn’s work remains deeply thoughtful and grounded in evidence-based practices.

You are the expert on your own life, and Kaitlyn is committed to collaborating with you as you work toward understanding your thoughts, overcoming obstacles, and creating meaningful change.
