What is the FRAT test for autism?

The FRAT test (Folate Receptor Antibody Test) measures whether your child has antibodies that block folate from entering the brain.

These antibodies can interfere with normal neurological function and are associated with a condition called cerebral folate deficiency.

The test is performed through a simple blood draw and can help determine whether Leucovorin treatment may be beneficial. You may order the FRAT test through Philadelphia Integrative as part of our Leucovorin treatment service.
