“

I enjoy working at Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry because of the diverse populations we serve and our holistic, integrative approach to care. I value the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and teens while also supporting families as a whole. This model allows me to consider the full picture of each client’s needs and provide individualized, compassionate care.

  • Michelle Soto is a mental health professional in training currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a certification in School Counseling (Pre-K through 12th grade), at Immaculata University. While she is new to Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, Michelle brings years of experience working with children, adolescents, and teens. She completed her practicum at Alpine Psychiatry, a sister practice to Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, where she gained valuable clinical experience.

Michelle’s educational background is in education and psychology, and she has over 15 years of experience in the education field supporting children and families. She has worked extensively with behavioral concerns, social-emotional dysregulation, and developmental needs, and has partnered closely with families while collaborating on IEPs and IFSPs for children and adolescents. This foundation has shaped her passion for supporting children, adolescents, teens, and families through challenging situations by providing an inclusive, open, and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely engage in the therapy process.

In addition to her work with youth, Michelle has experience supporting adults on their therapeutic journeys. She works with adults navigating life transitions and managing anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Michelle is committed to continually expanding her clinical knowledge and uses an integrative, client-centered approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, and mindfulness-based techniques.
