Alexa is a licensed, compassionate, and motivated therapist with comprehensive knowledge in the effects of mental health on the overall quality of life. She is passionate about building trust and rapport with clients through a strengths-based approach, reflective listening, and empathic interpersonal skills. Alexa has successfully completed and earned her Eating Disorder Certification. This has equipped Alexa with a comprehensive knowledge base, specifically tailored to work professionally with clients experiencing disordered eating and those who are diagnosed with eating disorders. With a focus on the HAES perspective, she is well-prepared to address the unique challenges associated with disordered eating patterns and provide holistic support to individuals seeking help. Alexa is committed to utilizing her expertise to assist her clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their specific needs.
She also currently offers experience with the daily impacts of depression and anxiety, body image and self esteem, and supporting both new moms and more experienced mothers through the journey of motherhood with a focus on empowerment and autonomy. With her compassionate and holistic approach, she prioritizes building rapport, normalizing daily experiences, and fostering unconditional positive self-regard.
