Amber Donnelly, MS, RDN, LDN

She / Her

Registered Dietitian

“

It's both refreshing and rewarding to work with a team where everyone is on the same page and in pursuit of a common goal - the best health and wellness of each and every client. While this goal is ubiquitous, the approach is a combination of perspectives from different health care providers all working in unison and respect of each other to develop the most appropriate, individualized program for the client and their goals. There is so much to learn from other practitioners, as well as so much knowledge to teach!

  • Nutrition has a huge impact on quality of life, going well beyond just "a diet" or "eating your veggies." Amber uses a holistic, evidence based, whole foods approach to help heal individuals from the inside out. She uses intuitive eating and mindfulness to teach clients how to listen to their body and have a positive relationship with food. No fad diets or calorie counting here! Instead, she helps to establish sustainable habits that help the body thrive, focusing on the connection between the brain, gut, and endocrine system (hormones).

Amber started her career in nutrition and wellness with her own personal journey, being diagnosed with Celiac disease in college. At the time, there was little education or support for the gluten-free lifestyle, or any food intolerance - something that she felt strongly needed to change. She completed her Bachelor's in Nutrition from East Tennessee State University, and her dietetic internship rotations and Master's in Entrepreneurial Nutrition Practice from Saint Elizabeth University.

Throughout her career, Amber has worked within NICU and pediatric hospital units, as a retail/grocery store dietitian, outpatient counseling, sports and performance nutrition, and corporate wellness.
